Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre

Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre is an established community asset, currently providing day care for local residents with dementia and wider community amenities.
Originally built to tackle issues of social isolation, we have thought carefully about how everyone can continue to access and enjoy the building. Our brief is to refurbish and extend the centre to accommodate their expanding choice of services to include dementia respite care, learning facilities for a range of ages/abilities, flexible spaces for skills teaching and a community café.
Our client’s interests are represented by the Chief Executive and the Board of Trustees. We will continue to develop this project in close collaboration with them, with our shared aims of finding imaginative and informed design-led solutions - from first sketch to moving into a completed building.
